We are temporarily accepting new enrolments for patients that currently are not enrolled in a medical practice in the Nelson / Tasman region. This is subject to change at any time.

How to enrol

MMH (Manage My Health Patient Portal)

ManageMyHealth is an online service that gives you the freedom to manage your health needs and that of your family anytime, anywhere

ManageMyHealth allows you access lab results, immunisation records, allergies, prescriptions and share health information as required with other health providers

ManageMyHealth is available to you right now. If you are interested in using our on-line patient portal services, please advise us when you join the practice and we will register you then.

Fees

Our fee schedule is on display at reception and is included in the Practice Information brochure you will be given when you first join the practice. You can also visit the PHO website for this information www.nbph.org.nz  We have no charge for standard consultations for children under 13 years.

All fees are GST inclusive. You can pay by cash, EFTPOS or credit card. Payment is expected at the time of consultation, unless you have negotiated alternate payment methods with reception or your doctor, prior to your consultation. If we do need to send out an account, an extra charge will be added to cover administration and postage costs.

Additional charges are made for after hours consultations, home visits, some materials and additional services such as ECG, minor surgery, cervical smears, loan equipment, and medical form completion. Check with reception.

There are a number of subsidised services that have reduced or no fees – these include annual diabetic checks and some mental health services. You can ask if you are eligible for these.

Texting

We are able to contact you by text if you usually carry and use a mobile phone. We need your consent to do this  – if you do not want us to text you, please let reception know.
