If you would like to discuss a home visit, please phone the practice as early in the day as possible.
Dealing with difficulties
If there are any problems about the way you have been treated or if you are unhappy with any of the services we provide, you need to tell us as soon as possible. In the first instance, please talk directly to the staff member involved or contact the Practice Manager. Feel free also to put something in writing, addressed to the Practice Manager. We will deal with your problem or complaint openly and promptly and will keep you informed. You also have the right to use independent procedures, which are outlined in pamphlets from the Health and Disability Commission and are available in our waiting room and on request.
Family Medicine Training Programme Doctors
We are approved by the Royal NZ College of GP’s (RNZCGP) as a teaching practice. A trainee GP or “GP Registrar” is a fully qualified doctor with at least 2 years of hospital experience who has chosen to specialise in General Practice. He / she spends about 6 months with us, and you may be asked if you would be happy to see the registrar when requesting an appointment.
We are able to contact you by text if you usually carry and use a mobile phone. We need your consent to do this – if you do not want us to text you, please let reception know.
